1 The Funds expenses reflect the most recent fiscal year-end (September 30, 2011).
2 The Adviser has contractually agreed to waive fees and/or make payments in order to keep total operating expenses of the Fund to the levels listed under net expense ratio until January 31, 2013.
Performance data quoted represents past performance. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Investment return and principal value will fluctuate so that an investor’s shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Current performance may be lower or higher than performance quoted. Class A reflects a maximum 5.75% sales charge. Class C reflects a sales charge of 1% CDSC for shares redeemed within 12 months of purchase. Performance shown reflects contractual fee waivers, without such fee waivers total returns would be reduced. Performance information does not reflect the 2% fee on shares redeemed or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. If such redemption fee was included, performance would be reduced.
The inception date for Class C, Class R and Class S Shares is April 19, 2004. The inception date for Class I Shares is June 1, 1994. All performance shown for each class of shares prior to each respective inception date is based on the performance of the Class A Shares, adjusted to reflect each share class fees, expenses, and maximum sales charges. The inception date for performance purposes is December 31, 1990. The quoted performance of the Fund includes the performance of certain collective trust fund accounts for periods prior to the Fund’s commencement of operations on June 1, 1994. These accounts were not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and therefore were not subject to the investment restrictions imposed by law on registered mutual funds. If these accounts had been registered, their performance might have been adversely affected.
Performance for periods prior to April 19, 2004 reflects the performance of the RBC Mid Cap Equity Fund, the predecessors to the RBC Mid Cap Growth Fund.
The Russell Midcap Growth Index is an unmanaged index that measures the performance of U.S. mid cap companies in the Russell 3000 Index, which have higher price-to-book ratios and higher forecasted growth rates.
