Our fixed income philosophy is based on the belief that the appropriate role of fixed income investing is to deliver superior risk-adjusted and absolute total returns in the long run. We also believe that strategic diversification of portfolios beyond the Treasury and Agency sectors adds value over time, and we use a disciplined and proprietary investment process to evaluate each holding. Finally, we use modest levels of risk across multiple strategies to add value as we attempt to capture the majority of excess returns.

We work closely with clients to understand their investment objectives, risk tolerances, liquidity needs, and sector and security limits. We then identify the securities we believe are best suited for a client’s portfolio and that address each client’s unique needs.

Our independent, experienced teams utilize a disciplined, bottom-up approach with an intense focus on fundamental research and qualitative analysis along with an emphasis on principled valuation metrics. Each team specializes in trading and researching assigned segments of the fixed income market which helps us identify and quickly respond to opportunities and risks on behalf of our clients.
